ZEBULON - Hazel Brannan Massey, 71, died Monday, June 14, 2010 at her home. Funeral service was Thursday, June 17, at Union Chapel Baptist Church, with Dr. Greg Lawson and Chaplain Eric Raddatz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County to the late Otha Brannan and Senora Pearce Brannan.

Surviving: daughters, Kim Baxley (Frank), Tammy M. Parker (Larry), all of Zebulon; son, Ricky Massey (Rita) of Middlesex; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Massey; sister, Kay B. Perry; and brother, Johnny E. Brannan.
