FRANKLINTON—  Charlie Gray Hunt, 84, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at Britthaven in Henderson. Memorial services were held Thursday evening, Sept. 9, at Franklinton Baptist Church, Franklinton.

He was born in Franklin County to the late Alison Gray Hunt and Louisa Jane Ayscue Hunt.

Surviving: daughter, Carol H. Abbott of Kittrell; sons, Charlie G. Hunt Jr. and Richard Wayne Hunt, both of Franklinton; one brother, James S. Hunt of Louisburg; sister, Mary Hunt Lawson of Henderson; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Annie Mae Hunt Smith, and a brother, Ruffin Hunt.
