TRUMMILER CRUDUP


FRAKLINTON — Trummiler Crudup, 91, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 9, at Popes Chapel United Church of Christ, Franklinton, with the Rev. Leroy Dukes officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Albert and Rebecca Crudup. She was a member of Popes Chapel United Church of Christ and was a homemaker.

Surviving: daughters, Mary Tetteh and Ophelia Hilliard (Jimmie Lee), all of Franklinton; sons, Ollie Perry (Mary) and Leo Crudup, all of Franklinton, Dallas Crudup (Carolyn) of Youngsville, and John Crudup (Lorraine) of Rougemont; sisters, Mabel Williams of Butner and Betty Crudup of Franklinton; brothers, Albert Crudup Jr. (Mary Helen) and Denish Crudup, all of Franklinton, and Benjamin and Eddie Morris Crudup, both of Louisburg; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Crudup, and two sisters, Lila Spivey and Bertha Chavis Boden.
