ZEBULON - Estelle Richards Jones, 96, of the Pilot Community, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011. Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Union Chapel Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Buck B. and Nellie Robertson Richards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Y. Jones; son, Phil Richards Jones; daughter, Patricia J. Gebbie; brothers, Woodrow, Baxter and Fernie Richards; and one great-grandchild.

Surviving: brothers, Ronald L. (Betty Faye) Richards, Donald P. (Virginia) Richards, Clifford A. (Betty) Richards; sisters, Arie Jane R. Horton, Marcia R. Leffingwell, Nikita R. Beddingfield and Vada R. McLamb; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers or memorials to Union Chapel Baptist Church are welcomed.
