RALEIGH – Corine Bartholomew Williams, 76, of Raleigh, died Tuesday evening.

Corine was the daughter of the late Herman Daniel and Mamie Swanson Bartholomew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard T. Williams, and her brother, Lewis Earl Bartholomew. She was a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church and taught school at Friendship Christian School for over thirty years.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Saint’s Delight Baptist Church in Louisburg.

Corine is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dexter Williams and Mary Calley of Raleigh; daughter and son-in-law, Tammie Williams Bailey and her husband, Wes Bailey of Louisburg; grandchildren, Troy Bailey and his wife, Hannah, Alyssa Bailey, Tucker Bailey and wife, Liz, Timon Bailey; great- granddaughter, Julia Ruth Bailey; nephew, Ken Bartholomew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship Christian School, 5510 Falls of Neuse Rd. Raleigh, NC 27609.
