WARREN, Ore. —Charles L. Powell, 74, a native of Franklinton, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at a Longview, Wash. hospice care center. Open house will be at the family home at 33684 Rodney St., Warren, Ore., on Saturday, April 9, from 1-5 p.m.

He was born in Franklinton to Raymond and Carrie (Neal) Powell. He was a graduate of Franklinton High School and retired from Terminal 4 Cereal Foods in Portland, Ore.

Surviving: wife, Kay Powell; daughters, Tamara Werderber (John) and Robin Baer (Allen) of Warren, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
