LOUISBURG - Keston “Norris” Privette, 65, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the home of his brother Phil in Louisburg. A memorial service was held Sunday, May 22 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Chapel, Knightdale, with Pastor Mick Bowen officiating.

He was born in Nash County to Daphine Cone Privette Knowles and the late Keston Norris Privette Sr. He retired after 30 years of service with the Raleigh Police Department.

Surviving: wife, Cecilia Diane Brooks Privette of Wendell; daughters, Kelley Privette Parker (Adam) of Mooresville, Brooke Privette of Raleigh, Julie Privette of Wendell; mother, Daphine Cone Privette Knowles of Titusville, Fla.; brothers, Phil Privette of Louisburg and Curtis Knowles of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.

The family has suggested that donations be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2728 Marks Creek Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
