YOUNGSVILLE - Jay Richard Jensen, 55, died Sunday, May 22, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.

today (Saturday, May 28) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Hunter officiating.

He was born in Milwaukee, the son of Virginia Hawkins Jensen and the late Ray Richard Jensen. He was an engineer with Schneider Electric.

Surviving: wife, Margaret “Meg” Jensen; children, Jaimie Marie Jensen, Andrew Richard Jensen and Katherine Margaret Jensen; sisters, Tara and Lisa, both of California, and Dianna of Wisconsin; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeana and Georgia.

Friends may visit with the family following the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
