LOUISBURG — Ken Maynard Hearold, 75, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 10 a.m. today (Saturday,  June 18) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

He was born in Naples, Ill., son of the late Bernice Bentley Hearold and Owen Hearold. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a heating and plumbing specialist.

Surviving: wife, Shirley J. Hearold; daughter, Rebecca Clark of Galesburg, Ill.; son, Ken W. Hearold of Wake Forest; sisters, Reva Jackson of St. Louis Mo., and Patricia Riley of Chambersburg, Ill.; brother, Dale Hearold of Bluffs, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde and Wilbert Hearold, and a grandson, Damian Lee Clark.
