YOUNGSVILLE - Ann Jones Strother, 63, of Youngsville, died peacefully Wednesday September 21, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Pattie Husketh Jones and Raymond Vanner Jones. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

Mrs. Strother is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harold Strother; daughters, Glenda Strother Pearce and husband, Leonard, of Angier and Wendy Strother Adkins and husband, Terry, of Hampstead; grandchildren, Sydney Marie Pearce, Kaylee Marie Adkins and Casey LeeAnn Adkins; sisters, Della Wiggins and husband, Charles, and Carolyn Cooke and husband, Donald, all of Franklinton; brother, Wayne Jones and wife, Brenda, of Franklinton; several nieces and nephews.
