LOUISBURG - Rodney Everette “Snake” West, 54, of Louisburg died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at his home. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Nov. 27, at Centerville Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer Ervin and Ethel Roberts West, and a sister, Martha W. Jeter.

Surviving: sister, Mattie W. Newsome (Dennis H.) of Prince George, Va.; brothers, Spencer Boyd West (Vicki) of Prince George, Va., Charlie Earl West (Linda) of Louisburg, and Wayne West of Louisburg; many nieces and nephews.
