LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Alex C. Hilliard, 80, who died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emma Solomon officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis family cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Margaret Conway of Louisburg; sons, Alex MacDonald Hilliard of Louisburg and James Hilliard of Raleigh; sister, Suzie Arrington of Louisburg; brother, Herman Hilliard of Louisburg; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
