LOUISBURG – Bobby Andrew Robbins, 77, died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 9, 2012 at his home. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, with Dr. Bill Haley and the Rev. Jared Pemper officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

He was a son of the late Sammie and Mozelle Hill Robbins. He was a retired truck driver, which was his life’s passion.

Surviving: wife, Brenda Tharrington Robbins; sons, Stuart (Cindy) Robbins of Louisburg and Dale (Ginger) Robbins of Willow Spring; daughter, Sherry (Greg) Terrell of Winterville; stepson, Joseph Patterson (Charlotte) of Louisburg; brother, Sylvester “Sonny” Robbins (Evelyn) of Youngsville; sisters, Shirley Malanix and Peggy Lumpkin (Billy), all of Louisburg; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
