ZEBULON - William D. (Billy) Pippin, 80, of Guardian Care Nursing Center, died Friday May 25, 2012. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 27, at Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon. Burial was in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

He was an employee of The Raleigh Times newspaper for 37 years and was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church.

He was predeceased by his father, Allan Pippin Jr.; mother, Lucille W. Pippin, and brother, Allan A. Pippin III.

Surviving: brothers, Fred W. Pippin (Katherine) of Cary, Joe Pippin (Ann) of Wendell; five nephews; two nieces; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
