YOUNGSVILLE —Dalton Timberlake Bailey Sr., 77, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at his residence. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Donald Warren officiating.

He was born in Franklin County, son of the late Ina Champion Bailey and Sam Hill Bailey. He was a retired Sergeant with Central Prison in Raleigh and was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Surviving: wife, Janice Duke Bailey; daughters, Nancy Bailey White (Eddie) of Youngsville, Rose Bailey Carter (Scott Sr.) of Raleigh; son, Dalton Timberlake “Tim” Bailey Jr. (Sabrina) of Youngsville; and seven grandchildren.
