FRANKLINTON —Claude Elvis Williams, 84, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born in Franklin County, son of the late Jennie Minor Williams and Albert Hinton Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Strother Williams.

Surviving: siblings, Willie H. Williams (Hazel), David Wayne Williams (Martha), all of Franklinton, Bobbie W. Wilson (Floyd) of Louisburg.
