RALEIGH - Juanita Cyrus “Mimi” Atkins, 95, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the sanctuary of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Burial followed at Montlawn Memorial Park.

She was the widow of Elmo Quincy Atkins.

Surviving: daughter, Dianne A. Hartgrove of Youngsville; son, Kenneth M. Atkins (Glad) of Wake Forest; brother, John Holman Cyrus of Raleigh;  three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
