LOUISBURG - Josephine Fuller Hayes, 91, of Louisburg died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Hillside Nursing Center in Wake Forest.  She was a graduate of W.R. Mills High School, the widow of John Whitmol Hayes, Sr., and she was also preceded in death by her brother, W.O. Fuller.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 30, at Louisburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Reggie Rushing officiating.  Interment followed in Oakwood Cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Kaye Hayes Sims of Lincolnton, NC; two sons, Johnny Hayes (Carol) of Zebulon and Michael Hayes of San Francisco, CA; two sisters, Shirley Bass (Charles) of Raleigh, Alieen Wilder of Louisburg; two brothers, Talmadge Fuller (Helen) of Raleigh and Oscar Fuller (Joyce) of Gafney, SC; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
