LOUISBURG – Roland  J. Hilaire was born July 7, 1965 in Haiti and passed away on December 4, 2012.  He was a talented architect, guitarist, avid music collector, and gun enthusiast. His infectious laugh, firm handshakes and passionate personality will be sorely missed. “Roly Rol” was a resident of Louisburg, North Carolina at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Genevieve; children, Nicholas and Stephanie; siblings, Pierre, Georges, Frantz and Carolyn; and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Johanes Raharjo officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service in the church at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Saturday, December 8, from 11:00 to 12:30 p.m.
