LOUISBURG – Christopher Reece Gupton, 27, died Saturday morning at his home.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betsy and Bill Sauls.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, with Dr. Reggie Rushing officiating.

Chris is survived by his life partner, Daniel Frangis; parents, Cindy and Reece Gupton; brothers, Cameron Gupton, Colby Gupton, and Casey Gupton; grandparents, Geneva and Eugene Burnette; Dawn and Jimmie Gupton; aunts, Marlene Rennie, Sherry Vaughan (Willard), Robbie Hunt (Mike), Beverly Gardner (Jeff); uncle, Josh Gupton; numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foundation of Hope, 9401 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27617.
