WAKE FOREST - Hazel Woodlief Keith, 85, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Rex Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 6) at Glen Royal Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County and was a life-long member of Glen Royal Baptist Church. She was the retired manager of combined records with the North Carolina Department of Correction after 46 years of service and worked a short time with the War Department during WWII as a stenographer.

Surviving: sons, Robert G. “Joe” Keith Sr. of Wake Forest and Richard LeBaron Keith (Beverly) of Youngsville; brother, Macon Woodlief (Sylvia) of South Carolina; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Richard Keith, and her aunt, Lillie Horton, who raised her.
