FRANKLINTON – Willard Edward Radford Sr., 92, died Tuesday morning, March 5, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. 

He was born in Franklin County, a son of the late Osborne and Nannie Jones Radford. He was also predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.  He served in the Army with the Military Police.

Surviving: wife, Doris Tant Radford; daughters Brenda (Wayne) Jones, Trish Radford, Gail (Rian) Wilder; son, Eddie Radford Jr., all of Franklinton.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home.
