LOUISBURG - Perry Dale Tharrington, 59, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his home.  The family will receive friends Saturday at 12 p.m. at Mountain Grove Baptist Church where services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daren Smart Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in the Tharrington/Bobbitt family cemetery. 

He was born to Pattie Murray Tharrington and the late Perry Lee Tharrington.  He worked at Bunn Correctional, was a life-time member of Gold Sand Fire Department and a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Patricia Tharrington; and her three children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild and his daughter, Angie and Shane Fields of Angier; his brothers Wesley “Dean” (Deborah) Tharrington and Terry Duran Tharrington, all of Louisburg, and four grandchildren.
