LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Edna “Rene” Hawkins, 80, who died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating.

Surviving: Geraldine Reynolds, Cassie Baker, both of Louisburg, Patricia Hawkins, Gloria White, both of Centerville, and Earnestine Bullock of Bunn; sons, Richard Hawkins of Centerville, Lester Hawkins, Ronald Lee Hawkins, both of Louisburg, and Arthur Earl Hawkins of Henderson; sister, Rebecca Lee Mason of Henderson; brother, Linzy Lassiter of Blackstone, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
