FRANKLINTON —Ralph Eugene “Gene” Preddy, 63, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in the chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, with Pastor Robert Mosher presiding. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

He was born in Vance County, the son of the late Willard R. Preddy and Lela Preddy Kessler.

Surviving: wife, Mary Linda Preddy; stepfather, Alden “Buddy” Kessler; sons, Ralph E. Preddy Jr. (Michelle), and Donald R. Preddy; daughter, Tabatha Preddy; stepdaughters, Brenda Wilder, Elaine Shirey, Patricia David (Doug); sisters, Fay Steed (Johnny) and Peggy Davidson (Jerry); and 10 grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel.
