LOUISBURG - Edward Daniel Bubelis, 91, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Franklin Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1, at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Sewell, N.J.

 He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late John and Julia Barnowsky Bubelis.  He served in the US Navy during WWII, he was a boiler maker and worked for various companies through the years before moving to North Carolina in 2007.

Surviving: wife, Janet Bubelis; sisters, Ann Anthony of Seminole, Fla., and Julia Sheeham of Massachusetts.
