WAKE FOREST - Mattie Lee Matthews Davis, 94, died at the Hospice House on Monday, April 29, 2013. Graveside service was held Wednesday, May 1, at Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh.

She was the daughter of Alan R. Matthews and Bessie Thelma Hood Matthews.

Surviving: daughters, Sandra Davis Wilson (David Crisp) of Raleigh and Janice D. Thompson (Donnie) of Youngsville; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Davis; brothers, Alan R. Matthews (Bro) and Edward Matthews.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House of Wake County, the Salvation Army or the Frranklin County Animal Shelter, Louisburg, NC.
