LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Carl D. Davis, 77, who died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, will be held Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Mary Helen Jones Cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Ella C. Davis of the home; daughters, Gladys Perry of Youngsville and Barbara Jean Davis of the home; sons, Michael D. Davis of Bunn, Carl Davis Jr. of Youngsville, Ralph L. Davis and Sandy Davis, both of Louisburg, Thomas Davis and Morris Davis, both of Raleigh, Delton Davis of Spring Hope, and Antonio Davis of Raleigh; sister, Helen Yancey of Baltimore, Md.; brothers, Dallas Thomas and Jessie Lee Thomas, both of Louisburg; 20 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 10.
