LOUISBURG - Marie Greenly “Ree” Smyser, 57, died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 22, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

She was born in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Sudie Alice Young.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joshua “Josh” Winston, and a brother, Chuck Greenly.

Surviving: husband, Arthur Smyser; daughter, Jennifer Cureton of Charlotte; sister, Teresa Greenly of Newberry, Mich.; and one grandson.
