ZEBULON - William “Billy” Frazier Tant Sr., 76, died Monday, May 20, 2013. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Wendell Baptist Church, with the service to follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

A native of Durham County, he was son to the late Thomas Earl and Lula Gray Pace Tant. He worked for Westinghouse and later ABB. He served 30 years in the National Guard.

Surviving: wife, Linda Andrews Tant of the home; children, William Frazier Tant Jr. (Amy Jo) of Wendell,   Sylvia   Cathey (Roger) of Blowing Rock, Sandra Liverman (C.J.) of Bailey; siblings, Hazel Boykin of Zebulon, Jimmy Tant (Kathy) of Archer Lodge, Norma Chamblee (James) of Gainesville, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
