BENJAMIN C. CORBETT


WINSTON-SALEM —Benjamin “Buck” Cullom Corbett, 77, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg,  followed by a graveside service at Bunn Cemetery.

He was born to the late Benjamin L. and Snowie Hocutt Corbett.  His career was in the banking industry where he worked for 34 years with NCNB, which is now Bank of America.

His eleven siblings, Eurcelle Jenkins, Gloria Corbett, Edith Lumpkin, Isolene Corbett, Sadie Phillips, Hobart Corbett, Army Corbett, Battle Corbett, John Corbett, Gilbert Corbett and Carol Corbett, all preceded him in death. 

Surviving: wife, Deborah Gay Corbett; sons, Lee Corbett of Knightdale and Tim (Portia) Corbett of Farmington, CT; daughter, Lisa (Chip) Putnam of Winston-Salem; four grandchildren.
