CASTALIA – Sherry Parrish Carpenter, 57, died Wednesday evening, June 19, 2013. A graveside service was held Saturday, June 22, at Red Bud Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Gary Shugart officiating.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward G. Parrish.

Surviving: husband, Keith Carpenter; mother, Norma Jean Parrish of Castalia; daughters, Tara (Chris) Ferrell, Nicole Swanson, Margaret Kemp, all of Louisburg, Teggie (Chuck) Ertley of Castalia, Sara (Billy) Collom of Jacksonville, Deena Shehadeh of Louisburg, Ashley Carpenter of Castalia; sons, Edward Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter, both of Castalia; brothers, Greg (Brenda) Parrish of Castalia and Glenn Parrish of Warsaw; and 10 grandchildren.
