SPRING HOPE —Funeral services for Joyce Cunningham, 61, who died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: son, James Cunningham of St. Louis, Mo.; parents, Ellis and Irene Alston of Castalia; sisters, Eula Leonard of Spring Hope, Daphine Thomas of Centerville and Maxine Perry of Louisburg; brothers, Rayband Alston of Castalia and Emmanuel Alston of Greenwood, Miss.; and three grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
