LOUISBURG – Catherine Hill Collie, 90, died  Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at her home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Cypress Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Bill Wallace officiating.

  She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Walter Foster Hill and Ethel May Jones Hill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruffin Collie; sisters, Geneva Murray, Ellen Moore, and Thelma Hicks; and a brother, Walter Hill.

Surviving: daughter, Clara Collie; son, Arthur (Donna) Collie, all of Louisburg; sister Nellie (Boyd) Arp of Sanford, Fla.; brothers, Dallas (Nancy) Hill of Spring Hope, Ronald (Gertrude) Hill of Louisburg, Warren (Peggy) Hill of Spring Hope.

The family will receive friends 7:00 – 8:30 pm Thursday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg and other times at the home of Arthur and Donna Collie, 131 John Mann Rd., Louisburg.  www.stricklandfuneralhome.net
