LOUISBURG - Ruby Murray Snead Medlin, 103, of Louisburg died Sunday, April 21, 2013. A graveside memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was born in Nash County, the daughter of Molly and Dolphus Murray.

Surviving: sister, Billy Ward of Raleigh.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Snead and J. W. Medlin; brothers, Dan Murray of Raleigh, Joe Murray and Mac Murray, both of Maury, NC; sisters, Bertha Murray of Florida, Ada Mitchell of Louisburg, Esther Preddy of Raleigh and Mary Murray of Middlesex.
