A memorial service for Johnnie Taylor will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. at Perry’s School Auditorium. He died on Aug. 15 in Killeen, Tex.

He was a retired Vietnam veteran who served for 28 years in the United States Army. He is the brother of Robert Taylor of Louisburg.
