She is survived by her husband, Kawand Garrett of the home; her mother, T. Hope James of Franklinton, NC; her father, James Sutton of Kittrell, NC; one brother, James Sutton, Jr. (Melissa) of Franklinton, NC; one sister, Tameka Richardson (Chris) of Youngsville, NC, her grandmother, Bernice Crudup of Franklinton, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Haywood Funeral Home, 2415 Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC, with interment in McLaurin Cemetery in Clayton.
