RALEIGH - Edna Elizabeth Young Bailey died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 12, at Mitchell Funeral Home, Raleigh. Burial followed at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham.

She was born to Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Young of Youngsville. She attended Louisburg College. She last worked with Dr. Susan Dees at Duke Hospital.

Se was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Ditus Young (her twin), Brooks Young; and sisters, Catherine Carter, Bernice Marsh and Mary Currin. Surviving: daughter, Beth Smith; sister, Margaret Morris of Louisburg; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
