WAKE FOREST - Phyllis Annette Black, 54, died on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y. to Dorothy Walker Black and the late James O. Black.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Old Liberty Baptist Church in Youngsville. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery in Wake Forest.

Surviving: mother, Dorothy W. Black of the home; daughter, Lashuntae Black of Raleigh; two grandsons; sisters, Vickie B. Richardson (Kenneth) of Wake Forest, Robin E. Black of the home; brothers, Brandon C. Black of Raleigh, Terry A. Black (Natasha) of Youngsville; 12 aunts; six uncles; two great-great aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
