FRANKLINTON - Sadie Pleasants Morris, 97, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at Louisburg Nursing Center. She was born in Granville County, the daughter of the late William and Georgianna Pleasants.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Dec. 26, at Fairview Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Anna M. Green of Knightdale and Bessie M. West of Franklinton; brother, Charlie Pleasants of Wake Forest; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood; son, Woodrow; sisters, Ada, Beatrice and Delvinia; brothers, Waylon and Dan, and by one grandson.
