LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Luther J. Allen, 61, who died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. at Perry’s Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Quinton Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis family cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Jacqueline B. Allen of Bunn; daughter, Monique Woodard of Charlotte; mother, Edith A. Allen of Louisburg; sisters, Carolyn M. Jones and Francine A. Hicks, both of Louisburg; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 27, from 3 to 7 p.m.
