LOUISBURG—Josephine Hunt Driver, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late Bessie Denton Hunt and Mark Henry Hunt and was preceded in death by her husbands, Yates Holmes and Claude Driver.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, in the New Hope Christian Church cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Barham officiating.

Surviving: daughters, Debbie Batts of Wilson and Shay Dwyer (Roland) of Cedar Park, Tex.; sister, Shirley (Kirby) Hinson of Louisburg, three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
