YOUNGSVILLE - Iris Gay Morris Pearce, 68, died Saturday afternoon Feb. 1, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born in Pitt County, the daughter of Linda Young Morris and the late Paul Morris.

Surviving: husband, Bobby Sanford Pearce; daughter, Alisa Martin (Clark) of Wake Forest; son, Brad Sanford Pearce (Chloe) of Youngsville; mother, Linda Atkinson of Scottshill; sisters, Edith Powell of Rocky Point and Doris Hartsfield (Major), of Scottshill; brothers, Bruce Morris (Winnie) of Rocky Point and Danny Morris (Jackie) of Scotts-hill; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
