NEW HAVEN, CT—Funeral services for Samuel Jones, of New Haven, Conn., formerly of Louisburg, who died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Castalia Baptist Church, with the Rev. Victor Senner officiating. Burial will follow in the Lessie Jones family cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Peggie King Jones of the home; daughters, Kelli Jones of New Haven, Ct., and Jacqueline Reid (Ronald) of Raleigh; sons, Samuel R. Jones of Nashville, Gregory Jones, Jeffrey Jones and Conrad Jones VI, all of New Haven, Ct.; sister, Bernice J. Ghist of Nashville; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
