POPLARVILLE, MS—  Doris G. Gupton, 81, of Poplarville, Miss., died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Red Bud Baptist Church, Castalia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Poplarville, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred William and Van Oliest Lee Gardner; her husband, Dr. Creighton L. Gupton; one sister, Eloise Nelms; and one brother, Robert Gardner.

Surviving: daughter, LeAnn G. Miller (Paul) of Starkville, Miss.; one son, Vann Gupton of Poplarville, Miss.; one sister, Martha Wilson of Roanoke Rapids; four granchildren; and one great-grandchild.
