RALEIGH - Dan Lassiter Perry, 83, died peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m, on March 16 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1581 Bethlehem Church Rd., Youngsville.

Surviving: sons Dan L. Perry, Jr. (Pamela) of Raleigh and Elgin Perry (Darlene) of Youngsville; and two grandchildren,   “Papa Dan” was predeceased by his wife, Betty Marie Perry; parents, Willie and “Buck” Perry; siblings, Elzin Workman, Roberta Kelley, Donald Perry and Emily Rose Byrd.
