YOUNGSVILLE - Carla D. Hockaday, 57, died Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Corinth U.C.C. in Youngsville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Wake County to the late Leroy Williams and Ada Mae Hockaday.

Surviving: son, Edward Hockaday of the home; one grandson; six brothers and two sisters, Caris, Calvin, Casey, Benjamin and Everdine Townes, all of Bronx, N.Y., Delilah Townes of Brooklyn, N.Y., Bruce Townes of Staten Island, N.Y., and Demetrius Townes of Pennsylvania; three nieces and four nephews.
