LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Eva Evans Brown, 79, who died Saturday, April 26, 2014, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 3, at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Elizabeth Evans (Richard) of Spring Hope, Mary Wardrick (Milton) of Louisburg, Deion Brandon (Alfrides) of Buther ..., Va., and Tammy Brown of Cary; sons, James Brown (Doris) of Louisburg, Steven Brown (Delores) and Anthony Brown (Davidsine), all of Raleigh; sisters, Inetta Evans, Gennie Evans and Barbara Davis, all of Louisburg; brothers, James Evans, Perry Evans Jr., Douglas Evans and Michael Evans, all of Louisburg; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 2.
