Juneteenth celebration
The Emancipation Proclamation Day Observance Committee is hosting a Juneteenth Celebration, Thursday, June 19, from noon until 7:30 p.m. in downtown Louisburg at the Pete Smith Automotive Group Amphitheater. There will be guest speakers, praise dancing, singing, food trucks, crafts, poetry, storytelling, games, face painting, a bouncy house, and more.

Vacation Bible School
The Perry's Missionary Baptist Church will host its Annual Vacation Bible School June 24 through June 26. The theme is Back to the Basics: BIBLE.
The learning experience will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Youth Activity Day
Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 552 N. College Street, Youngsville, will host a Community Youth Activity Day this Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Families and children are invited to the event, which will include face painting, a bouncy house, a Gospel DJ, food and games.
The church's Youth Sunday will be June 22 at 11 a.m. with music by the Youth Choir. Guest Preacher is Minister Bryant Miller.

Anniversary/Homecoming
Jones Chapel MBC will host its Anniversary/Homecoming celebration on Sunday, June 22. The Rev. Dr. James Smith, Interim Pastor, will deliver the message.
The Annual Revival will begin on Wednesday, June 25 through Friday, June 27. Revivalists for the week are Rev. Benjamin Jenkins from Haywood Baptist on June 25, Rev. Nolan Davis from Bunn Chapel on June 26 and Rev. Micah Mason from Nelson Chapel on June 27.
