WAKE FOREST —Samuel R. Bizzell, 82, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at Feggins & Feggins Funeral Chapel in Wake Forest. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery in Wake Forest.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at Feggins & Feggins.

He was born in Wayne County.

Surviving: daughters, Mary A. Bizzell-Harris and Joyce M. Bizzell, both of Raleigh, Frances B. Bryant (Roy) of Louisburg; sons, Samuel L. Bizzell (Lorna) of Wendell, Joseph Ceasar and Andre Bizzell (Maechrister), all of Wake Forest, and Christopher R Bizzell (Sherrell) of Zebulon; brother, Major Bizzell (Willistene) of Durham; sister, Ethel McDonald of Holly Springs; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
